As unmanned aerial systems continue to transform the modern battlefield, the demand for effective, accessible and cost-efficient countermeasures has never been greater. Recognising this rapidly evolving threat, EPA has made a strategic commitment to expanding its capabilities in this critical area of defence.

A Dedicated Centre of Excellence

The new division brings together EPA’s extensive experience in specialist ammunition, precision engineering and advanced projectile development, creating a focused environment for innovation and continuous improvement.

Unlike many emerging counter-drone initiatives, EPA’s division is built upon an established foundation of existing products and manufacturing capabilities, with several solutions already in production and an expanding portfolio of next-generation technologies under development.

Innovative Solutions for Emerging Threats

At the heart of the division is a commitment to delivering practical, scalable and cost-effective counter-UAS solutions.
Our growing product portfolio encompasses specialist small-arms ammunition and innovative projectile technologies, designed to address the changing requirements of modern defence operations.
Through continued investment in research, development and manufacturing infrastructure, EPA aims to offer solutions that combine operational effectiveness, manufacturing scalability and accessibility.

Investing in the Future of Counter-UAS Defence

The establishment of our Counter-Drone Division represents an important milestone in EPA’s long-term development strategy and reinforces our position as an innovative British defence manufacturer.

As the nature of unmanned threats continues to evolve, so too will our commitment to developing the technologies required to address them.
We look forward to working closely with defence organisations, industry partners and customers worldwide as we continue to expand our capabilities and contribute to the future of counter-UAS defence.
